Since returning from the Homeless World Cup in Oslo it has been an eventful time for the Irish homeless Street leagues.
An amazing event took place Monday 20th October in Oliver Bond flats, organized by Gayle and the local Resident association, to celebrate Dionne’s Lyons remarkable achievement in representing Ireland at the Homeless World Cup in Oslo.
The event was attended by a number of special guests, including Dionne’s parents, Lord Mayor of Dublin Cllr Ray McAdam, FAI CEO David Courell, IHSL founder , Sean Kavanagh, Dublin City Council Manager Richard Shakespeare and local TDs and councillors And many others who have supported Dionne on her journey to the World Cup.
Dionne is a truly inspiring role model — not only for her local community, but for the entire country.
A huge thank you to Gayle for organizing such a meaningful celebration and for inviting the Street leagues to be part of it.
